Photos from Arthur Ballou of the 557th FAB (from his son, Dan Ballou), June 2012
Picture #7
16 photos from Arthur D. Ballou
Dan Ballou says, "My father (Arthur D. Ballou) was a member of the 557th F/A Btn. They were one of the few other units that fielded M12's." Photos can also be seen online at www.WW2Online.nl
"I did not create that site. It was made by a guy in Holland who was making it as a tribute to the GI's who liberated Holland. He somehow found me and asked me if my father took any pictures."

This destroyed M30 Carrier was fully loaded with ammo when they were caught on the road and straffed by an ME 109. The two soldiers in it were obviously killed. In one of the pictures you can see the other half of it over across the street.
